I bought the storage bins because we are on the house hunt, hard core. Let me describe to you what that means.
Here is how I spend my free time:
1. Searching new homes online
2. Meeting with my realtor on a weekly basis to view homes
3. Constantly thinking about houses
4. So consumed by it I can hardly do anything else.
5. The worst is when I literally star placing our furniture in the "new" house (the house we haven't even placed an offer on). I start erecting the basketball court in my mind. It is so exhausting to live like this and I know it is very unhealthy and I know I should just relax and quit moving in and out of these "potential" houses.
I do enjoy looking but I just can't believe how hard this has been. We started looking last year and then decided that we should save a few more pennies so we can put down a substantial downpayment. So we saved and now we are in a much better position to purchase a house that is bigger than a shack.
We still haven't found the perfect house, and I'm not sure there is one. We seem to be getting closer and kicking ideas around of putting an offer out on one.
For those of you who don't know anything about Ann Arbor I will fill you in a little so you can better understand our predicament.
Ann Arbor is ridiculously expensive! For example, a nice ranch 1500 sq feet in Ann Arbor is easily over 200,000 dollars. We really value a close commute and we do really want to be in town. We looked outside of town but we aren't sold.
Book Reading:
As for my book per week...I am on track but I am at a standstill. House hunting has consumed me and I can't even focus on a book. If I finish my current book by the end of this week I will be on track (not looking likely though).
I currently can do 8 pull-ups (all the way down to a dead hang) on the first set and my goal is 10. Second set is only about 5 reps. (I'm just posting this so I can track my progress.)
Wade's latest fun is playing in his empty diaper box, trying to stand on top of the kitchen table, climbing on all the furniture, and blowing lots of kisses. He sort of says "yes" and he puts together sounds and we can tell what he is trying to say. For instance, "u do it" is a nice three syllable grunt.
Life is good. We leave for Colorado on Saturday (Rob and I..Wade is staying with Gma and Gpa) to hit Vail, Breckenridge, and maybe Beaver Creek. We are looking forward to our first trip away from the boopermagooper aka bumblebee joseph aka bee, because he is busy as a bumblebee.
